I used to review Web Accessibility for a living and it is very important to me that I post accessible content. I think its important that everyone is able to view your content and be exposed to it. Here’s how you can post accessible images on Twitter.

1.Open your settings on Twitter & select the accessibility link under General

2. Check the Compose Image Descriptions Box. This will allow you to write out a description of the image for the visually impaired.

3. Go back to your homepage and test this by uploading an image. You should see a new section that says “add image description”

4. Type in an image description & post.

You should now be able to see visual impairment captions on tweets
